Some guests may not appreciate the presence of neighborhood cats, which can come and go as they please.

The room was clean and spacious, with both A/C and a fan. The staff was amazing and helped us get discounts on activities like a Thai cooking class and motorbike rentals. The location was convenient, within walking distance of the Old City and a nearby night market with delicious food.

I stayed at this awesome hostel 10 months ago and I just had to come back! The location is perfect, close to everything without all the noise. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are spacious. The staff are amazing, always smiling and happy to help. The owner is a sweetheart and gives great discounts on tours and scooter rentals. Great value for your money!

Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

The staff at U2 & I-Smile were incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I had an issue with our room, they quickly resolved it and even offered a full refund. The friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home. The location was convenient, with the night market and 7 Eleven nearby. The rooms were clean and had mirrors and plug sockets by the beds. I highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chiang Mai.

I recently stayed at U2 & I-Smile Hostel for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The newly renovated building looked great and the beds were super comfy, with curtains for added privacy. The location was ideal, just a short distance from the old city. I felt safe in the area and the complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and water were a nice touch. I had a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Plus, they provide free snacks and water, which is such a nice touch. the location of the hostel is perfect, right in the heart of the city. And the beds are super comfortable, with curtains for added privacy.

there was no hair dryer available, which was a bit inconvenient. the cleanliness of the toilets could have been improved, as there was often hair in the drains and the walls didn't seem very clean.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even assisting me in booking a cooking class and trek. I had a wonderful stay.

The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement.

I had a fantastic stay at U2 & I-Smile! The location was perfect, with street food and minimarkets just around the corner. The hostel fee was cheap, but the facilities were great. I loved the rooftop area where I could hang my washed clothes. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always with a smile on their faces. The beds with privacy curtains and charging stations were a nice touch. Despite the lack of air conditioning in the dorm, the room was cool enough. I highly recommend this hostel for its cleanliness, helpful staff, and convenient location.

I highly recommend this hostel to my friends. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, convenient locker, close to food market, walking distance to night bazaar, awesome jazz bar nearby. Truly a great value for money experience.

We had an amazing value stay at U2 & I-Smile. The staff was super friendly and the hostel had a great relaxing vibe. The location was perfect, with a food market just 5 minutes away. We loved everything about this hostel!
